PARTS GUIDANCE FOR HODGES CUSTOMERS
Match drivetrain details before buying
If you are looking for a transmission, the vehicle model is only the beginning. Engine size, automatic or manual operation, drive layout, and identification codes may affect the match. Ask your installer to confirm those details before you request a replacement, particularly if the vehicle has had an engine or transmission swap in the past.
Put the drivetrain specification first
- Identify automatic or manual transmission.
- State whether the vehicle is 2WD, 4WD, or AWD.
- Bring the transmission code or the repair shop’s parts specification.
For more detail, read our transmissions & drivetrain guide. You can also browse all used-parts categories or ask about a component that is not listed.
Should I book installation when I request a part?
Discuss installation with your repair shop and confirm the replacement specification before purchase. Contact Ike’s about part availability, what is included, and collection at the Greenwood yard.
